Biography:
I was born in Cheticamp, Cape Breton, NS. I attended grade school at NDA School in Cheticamp through grade 12. I received more education/training at St. FX University in Antigonish, NS (Bachelor of Science with major in Mathematics), then Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS (Master of Arts with major in Mathematics). I have lived much of my life in Halifax, NS with my main occupation Benefits Manager, looking after pension plans and group insurance programs for a number of companies.. Throughout my career of about 45 years, I have worked in Moncton (NB), Toronto (ON) and Halifax (NS). I was married for 10 years and have no child/children and no grandchildren. I presently enjoy pursuing these interests: investing money, looking after real estate that I own (house in Cheticamp and two condos in Halifax), doing volunteer work, attending Al-Anon meetings (help for families of alcoholics) and keeping family ties (genealogy).. My future goals are to retire at age 67 and then start a small business (to keep my mind active).. In Conclusion, Life is good! I've been given a lot (good health, strong constitution, intellligence, strong work ethics...) and I am very grateful..
